He propped himself up onto his elbows, and squinted as he looked out towards the others. The air wasn't necessarily hot, but the sun shone so brightly, Mykelti could barely look up from the ground. He put his head down again, and attempted to cover his eyes with his paws. "You must choose." The large eagle's voice chimed next to him. "Yes, I know Prague." Mykelti's voice was muffled as he spoke into the ground. Slowly, he lifted his head from between his paws. "But is there anyone worth choosing? I require someone loyal, strong, determined.." He let out a sigh. "Do any of these creatures fit that description?" He looked out among the others again, and saw nothing that fancied his interests. "What about him?" Prague's gaze was fixed on something in the distance. Mykelti strained to see the creature she was referring to. "The dog?" The feline asked, looking over at Prague for a response. She nodded. He looked back, to take another look at the canine she pointed out. He nearly blended in with the rocky landscape, but Mykelti could see that he was large, and had many scars.. From battles perhaps.. Is he a fighter?"Prague.. please, bring him to me." Without a word, the massive eagle took off with a single, powerful beat of her wings. He watched her gracefully fly to the large wolf, and patiently awaited her return. Maybe I have finally found what I've been looking for?Notes:: I have With's permission to play Prague like that. I'M WAITING AND FADING AND FLOATING AWAY. [/color][/center] [bg=ffffff][atrb=width,400,true][atrb=cellpadding,0,true][atrb=border,0,true] - - ||when you see yourself in a room ||

Patiently deciding to do the ladylike thing, Prague didn't argue with her Dominant, and instead flew over to her chosen. Massive wings abused the air as she flew over, keen yellow gaze trained on the canine. It was a short distance, and she landed elegantly, folding her wings before raising her head, crest slightly fluffed.
"Tshor, Mykelti requests your presence at this moment," She said, voice rather soft as she spoke, a slate brow raised. But of course, the male's answer would be in the affirmative. Nobody really rejected Mykelti's orders. "If of course, you are not busy." she added for politeness' sake. Yellowed eyes searched the canine, and she thought to herself, - I suppose you'll do. -, before gesturing her long neck in the direction of their Dominant, taking to wing and soaring back.

Tshor didn't like this. Not one bit. To many others around him made him feel him a bit out of sorts. Having to try and view everyone with nothing more than an eye and a half. It made him restless on the inside and whenever anyone came to near to where he lay, his muzzle would twitch, almost like he wanted to snap them into giving him distance. It wasn't just the crowd though. Sure he came up this way in search off food but the reason he liked his desert was the less chance of water. Here on the other hand had those rapids. To easily to fall to ones death by drowning or be forced over. Ah the desert, he had to admit it was cooler up this way but with a bit of a scratch to himself he sent out a bit of his precious sand to scatter before him. The stuff always clung to his fur.
As his orange eyes picked up Prague's shape coming towards him, he twitched his muzzle as she landed before him. Just great. He grunted as he pushed himself backwards with his forelegs till he sat up. Looking down at the bird, a bit annoyed. He only nodded and looked towards the cat seated a ways away. Sighing he got to his feet and left the comfort of the rock he'd taken a liking to. Shaking more sand from his body before starting to move towards the Dominant.
"Sir?" He said when he was in range, standing up a bit straighter upon approaching Mykelti. "You wanted to see me?" Tshor knew his luck, and by his count this wasn't good. Sure he wasn't there much for the pack except leading stragglers who got lost in the desert back to 'civilization', but he hadn't done anything wrong to get the attention of the leader. He looked the Feline over with his good eye and half closed one. Waiting as still as he could not wanting to be as fidgety as a pup being scolded by an elder.

Her beak briefly opened and closed again, and before the canine could do much of anything, she had already taken wing, and was swiftly back by Mykelti's side. As the dog came nearer, he could see more scars, and something strange about his left eye. The canine came within speaking distance, and his voice rang out, "Sir? You wanted to see me?" He looked nervous, like he was expecting bad news. "Ai, you look concerned. Don't worry, you've done nothing wrong." Mykelti forced a slight smile as he looked the canine over once more. Now that he was close to him, Mykelti could see that he was quite large, and very strong in appearance. At first, he wasn't expecting much, but this may be just the creature he needed after all. "I have a proposition for you, young wolf." Mykelti's voice was fairly deep, and powerful. He glanced at his eagle companion, and she gave a slight nod. "I would like to ask you to be my second in command. My subordinate." He didn't wait for a reaction from the canine, and continued. "You seem to have been through a few fights, and survived." Mykelti glanced at the wolf's eye again. It was bad manners to stare. "This may mean you are a skilled fighter. Exactly the sort of creature I need by my side. But most importantly, I can see already that you respect ranks. Being a canine, this does not surprise me.." Mykelti was not particularly fond of dogs, but he knew that they made good companions. "So, what do you say?" He forced a bit of a smile again, and waited patiently on the canine's response. Notes:: I assume it's Tshor's left eye that is half broken? Tshor only relaxed slightly when told he wasn't in trouble, either way he was still being pulled aside as it were to be talked too. Muzzle twitching slightly as he was looked over once more. More used to being on the other side to the table, sizing up everyone.
He opened his mouth slightly when the proposition first came into play but he smirked as the dominant continued. His eyes flashing slightly as he started to chuckle when the words finally came for giving him permission to speak. "I say one could kill you right now. Not that one would get far but it could, or at least put up a potentially fatal fight." He said his chuckle coming to a sharp stop. "What kind of background other than features do you have of me? I could be anyone. You'd never know." His smirk spread again "Scars alone don't usually tell of fighting experience sir. Some one could just be damn lucky or unlucky but fast. I'd like to move up in ranks much as the next fellow but what of it should really get me hooked for watching over your tail?" He sat down with a thump and swished his own tail over the ground once. "I'm not huge on groups and I like my own privacy, how would I keep that as second in command?" An ear lowered slightly as he tilted his head. Eyes never leaving the big cat. "Why me anyway, just cause I look like I've been in fights? You could just as well make your birdy there into your second, may follow orders better than me, ya never know."
He gave a rather toothy grin. "Still interested in your proposal to me?"
