The shop is a place where you can purchase things to enhance your characters by using the Denarii you earn from posting or contests. ( You get 50 Denarii for character creation, and an additional 5 for every role play post. In case anyone was wondering, the Denarius is a unit of silver coin used in Rome. )[/size][/center]
Before we go on, to actually make a purchase, you're going to make a thread in this board, not a reply to anything. Make your own thread, and when accepted, I will post so, and move it to the shop archives.
Upon purchase, the Denarii will be removed from your account, and you can have whatever it is that you bought in any role play thread after the acceptance of our purchase.
Also, anything purchased is up to YOUR interpretation of what you want - my descriptions are very loose.- OTHER -
|- Extra character slot - 150 - 250 - 450 Denarii -|
The maximum number of characters you can have is 2 - want to increase that limit? Go right ahead and buy one of these. ( The maximum total character slots is 5. The prices you see are for the third, fourth, and fifth slots. It increases over time. )
- BODY MODIFICATION -
[/size][/center]|- Horns - 50 Denarii -|
Do you want your character to have cute little devil horns? Or maybe big ram horns, or antlers, or something totally different! ( Price can be disputed if you have smaller horns. )
|- Talons/fangs - 50 Denarii -|
Does your character have extra-long claws or saber fangs? Feel free to buy some so your animal can maul whatever it wants. ( For things like Gryphons and Dragons, if they're unnaturally long, purchase them here. Other creatures, if it's much longer than normal, like a dog having 3 inch pointy claws, buy them here. )
|- Vibrant colors - 20 Denarii -|
This is available for purchase if your character has an exceptionally bright marking. This can be used for different colors, different markings, all on one character. As always, this is fantasy, but if your tiger has neon green stripes, you'll have to buy them. ( Not for things like albino/melanistic, or if your character has some red or orange or whatever. This is for bright purples, blues, greens, pinks, etc. )
|- Eye colors/pupil mods - 15 Denarii -|
If you don't want your character to have pupils, or maybe has bright pink eyes with star-shaped pupils, buy it here.
|- Wings - 200 Denarii-|
Bat wings, bird wings, whatever it is, can be purchased here. These may be used as weapons or as a flight mechanic, or may just be useless or attached to the front legs - whatever. It's your decision.
|- Feathers and Spikes - 50 Denarii-|
If your character is a feline and has feathers as a mane, or perhaps your dog has spikes on his tail, you can buy them here.
|- Other species' body parts - 40 Denarii-|
Your cat wants a wolf tail? Your gryphon has a serpent's tail? Or perhaps your wolf has a beak and your owl a nose.
|- Extra Body Parts - 60 Denarii-|
Two tails? No problem. An extra pair of forelimbs? Sure. Please note that these come as one of a pair, for instance, you can have two extra legs, one extra tail, two wings, or anything less than that. If you buy this, you aren't getting 50 limbs like a centipede.
|- Jewelry - 35 Denarii -|
If your wolf has ear piercings or a necklace, or perhaps your gryphon has beads in its feathers, you'll be able to get them here.
- POWERS -
[/size]All powers come in stages. It is considered that the Gods 'grant' your character the powers, and are developed with time and practice. They evolve in three stages of your choosing, and each stage takes 1 irl week, and if you start a thread in one stage, the powers remain in that stage for the entirety of the thread, no matter the irl time.
Powers are also up to your interpretation, but must meet my approval. Your wolf cannot suddenly explode into a ball of flames and be alright, but perhaps can spit fire instead.
Each character may have ONE major power and THREE minor powers.
( leaders get two major. )
- MAJOR : 200 Denarii-[/center]
|- Fire -|
Is your character full of rage or has a hot temper? Allow them to harness the power of fire, using it to burn enemies and singe their targets. ( Nothing super extreme here like summoning an epic fire tornado. Stuff like paws on fire, breathing fire, all that's fine. )
|- Water -|
The ability to command and freeze water is at your character's fingertips - how will they use it? ( Can freeze into rough shapes, but the water must be pretty readily available, not in a lake 50 miles away. Cannot control other liquids, just water. )
|- Earth -|
Sturdy like a rock and unfaltering in their ways, perhaps your character can cause some havoc by making the ground rumble or rocks fall from cliffs. ( Cannot control things like metal or brick or concrete, just dirt, rocks, and ground. Can however, cause minor earthquakes or disruptions in a localized area. )
|- Weather -|
Perhaps your character can summon the rain or wind to aid them in some way. This could be very useful for creatures in flight. ( If it's already raining, can direct the rain away from them or at someone, make the rain sleet, make it lighten up a bit, or use the power of wind to shear at others or to help them fly or jump. )
|- Electricity -|
Summons the character's natural electric currents and focuses them in a way that manifests like lightning or bolts of electricity. ( Minor zaps can be painful, and can be as strong as something like a taser, paralyzing their foe for a short period of time. )
|- Shadow -|
Allows the character to slip into the shadows and become nearly undetectable and invisible. Great for escaping, spying, or assassination. ( This power is not foolproof, because the characters still make sounds and can trip over things, and moving fast smears the illusion. )
|- Corruption -|
The character can steal life from another object, causing things like small plants to die, and exhausting others with a lengthened touch. ( Requires contact to work, and cannot make another slip into unconsciousness or die, but tires them out quickly, and restores the energy to the caster. )
|- Telepathy -|
If your character is very in tune with those around them, this is the power for them. Allows the character to skim the surface intentions ( Not thoughts. ) of another, and influence their emotions in a negative or positive way.
|- Necromancy -|
Characters can summon the ghosts of the deceased to give them knowledge, invite a spirit to inhabit their body, and more. ( Go crazy with this one guys. Anything to do with spirits, ghosts, otherworldly powers, whatever. )

Minor powers do not evolve in stages, but are simply granted and come into effect once you start any new thread after the request has been accepted.
