SPECIES; Horned owl
PERSONALITY; Strix prides on the knowledge he has acquired for himself. He does not enjoy wasting his knowledge on "childish trivia" such as jokes or stupid questions. This makes it almost too difficult for others to befriend him. Unless they are equally intelligent, of course. Because he spent most of his time sitting around, thinking his philosiphical ways, his wings are not used to his flying abilities. Because of this he almost always walks on the ground. He is a prime source of prey for his predators, and has been attacked a few times by multiple feline-type creatures, hence, his natural fear of cats and the like. Strix is also known to go a little crazy when talking about things he is deeply interested in. His infamous rants can go on forever until someone tells him to shut his beak. But other than these little outbursts, Strix has a serious character. He thinks about most things logically, and anything that seems too "out-there" is deemed by him to be impossible. He is always quite stubborn with these views as well; and will not back away from them until he is proven wrong with evidence that can be seen.

STRENGTHS; Intelligent, cunning, adapts quickly to his surroundings.
WEAKNESSES; Flying. Strix can use his wings, but not very well. He tends to walk on the ground, or sometimes even hitch rides on top of other animals. He realises that walking is quite dangerous for an avian like him, wich has resulted in a few attacks.
FEARS; Any sort of feline.
QUIRKS; Has a minor twitch, and is highly strung with emotions at times.
BELIEFS; Not necessarily religious, but does believe that there is a God.
SEXUALITY; Heterosexual - Straight.
