"This is the Kinir's territory. They are known for their brutality... in fact, I've heard that they have to maim their mentor to be considered an adult. 'Tis just a rumor, however." Akula felt the fur on her back stand. "I don't zink I vant to stay here much longer," she said,"Not zat I'm afraid or anyzing, just, staying alive vould be nice." Sitting down she felt a little more on edge now. They could probably take on one Kinir, but what if the whole pack showed up? Don't think about that right now, Akula, It's just a rumor anyways, she thought. "Tis no problem at all. I've been lonely myself, wandering around the Kinir lands. I was sent to gather intelligence on... well..." Being the curious type, she was about to ask, but she decided it would be a good topic to bring up on the way to Tu'Vac's home. I should ask him if there is a way we could repay him for showing such kindness, Akula thought,It would be rude not to. Wondering if they had enough time to travel, she looked to the sky. The sun still seemed suitably high still. This was a relief, she'd hate to travel in the dark. She couldn't see as well in the dark as the cougars.
Noting that Tu sat down, she did as well and listened. "Well... long ago, we were once one group. The Viriun, my pride, are the only ones with honor now, and are the only ones that won't be Damned. The others just couldn't see that. They didn't see a higher power, so they couldn't respect a higher power... but us Viriun know that seeing isn't always believing. They keep calling us extremists, when really, we're just trying to do what 's best for this world." This made her smile. It was good that they ran into the member of the only pride with honor now. Besides, Viruin was a nice name. Viruin sounded like a pride she could be proud to be called part of. Akula said nothing though, she just nodded. For the first time in awhile she was at a loss for words. Observing him, she realized his smile had faded near the end of the short story, he also seemed to trail off. I'll ask later, she thought.
"Oh, I can imagine. I thought the same when our leader told me of his group. But... well, here I am." The way he blinked his eyes made her feel reassured. Their luck has turned definitely."No, nothing at all. Just a few hours of traveling is all it would take. I'd like it to be shorter, but the territories are vast in this region." A few hours.. how long is a few hours? At least it's not days, and this time you know where your going instead of traveling blindly, she thought. She stood up as Sonya and Tu'Vac did. "Vell," she said with a smile,"Lead the way, Tu."
Note: Bad post, couldn't find much to say really, sorry about that.

[bg=669933][atrb=width,350,true][atrb=cellpadding,0,true][atrb=border,0,true]Sonya relaxed herself as the gryphon and cougar went on with their talk. It was probably noon or so by now. She yawned and stretched. There was no sun peeking out of the rain clouds anymore, and Sonya saw that to the north they looked pretty heavy. It felt like it was going to rain soon. Sonya wanted these two to wrap up their conversation and get going. She still enjoyed the aspens and their wondrous circle-shaped leaves. They seemed to pick up dew easily, setting the tree almost aflame with the sparkles of the droplets.
"Vell, lead the way, Tu."
Finally! Let's get going.
Sonya basically spoke her thought aloud, "Alright. We're all ready. Let's go," Sonya wasn't impatient, it was just that she hated traveling in the cold rain. "or we'll all be drenched by the time we get there." Sonya flicked her tail up to the sky, to show that rain is on it's way. The trees in the forest quivered and shook, as if cold for the upcoming shower. Almost as if saying goodbye. Oh, no biggie. I'm sure we can visit anytime we want. We just have to be cautious. The young cougar inhaled, as if to breathe in this forest for the last time.

T U ' V A CVIRIUN | MAJOR"I don't zink I vant to stay here much longer. Not zat I'm afraid or anyzing, just, staying alive vould be nice." [/i][/s] Tu'Vac nodded understandingly. Fear of death was always a good reason to move. Maybe they didn't serve Him as well as He wanted them to... and it was always wise to fear His wrath. "Many of the other schisms call us extremeists, but they tried to purge us from our lands... We are only trying to follow Him as best we can."[/b] His voice was soft now, and his eyes didn't meet there's. "Alright. We're all ready. Let's go, or we'll all be drenched by the time we get there."[/s][/i] "Lead the way, Tu."[/s][/i] Tu'Vac nodded once again, and turned sharply on his heels to walk back the way he came. They would have to go towards the ocean and make their way to the Cold Wash; it was the easiest path to get to his home. "I was originally here because... well... one of our children went missing, and I was sent to find information. We know that the Kinir did it, but... it's too late."[/b] He let a pained expression cross his features. He was an expert actor, always was. How could they know that all of his stories so far were lies? [[Short, but I didn't want to type too much.]] [/center]

Many of the other schisms call us extremists, but they tried to purge us from our lands... We are only trying to follow Him as best we can. Looking over at Tu she thought,His pride must be religious... I probably shouldn't mention anything. Akula wasn't very very religious, in fact she held a bit of a grudge against Him. Of course, she'd come to never mention it. Not yet anyways, soon she'd probably have to or accept that it wasn't His fault. When she did, she'd blame herself. That fact would haunt her, but the incident already haunted her day and night anyways. So what would be the difference? Not wanting Tu to think she was ignoring him, she finally gave a slight nod. Akula realized they were now leaving so she walked forward, staying close to Tu. Don't want to get lost now, she thought. Although, it would probably be very hard to get lost with their guide. He seemed to have superb sight and smell abilities. Maybe he was a scout? It was possible, but she scratched the idea. It's bad to make assumptions, better to just ask or find out, Akula told herself. Noting that she was probably walking a bit too close she stepped back a little ways.
I was originally here because... well... one of our children went missing, and I was sent to find information. We know that the Kinir did it, but... it's too late. Akula showed a sad expression now, and said,"One of your pride's children? But.. why would they take it? Would they have killed it?" Looking to the ground as she walked she sighed, it was always sad when a child went missing, at least, to her anyways. To some others it may just seem normal. "What.. what will we do if we run into one of these.. Kinir?" Akula questioned. She would have to find some other way to entertain herself while they walked if they ran out of conversation. Daydreaming was always nice to her, and quite fun really. That however was just a backup plan. Tu probably had lots of stories. Right now all Akula could do was think about what they would see on their journey. Looking over to Sonya she wondered what she was thinking. It was always hard to tell. To Akula, her eyes rarely showed expression. Shaking her head she sighed.

Oh. Wow. Are the Kinir really that bad? Sonya had a confused expression etched on her face. She asked, "How do you know the Kinir did it?" Her thoughts were mixing around in her head, but Sonya assured herself not to worry too much about it. The wind was blowing in the opposite direction they were walking, and she inhaled the breeze. It was smooth, cold, and relaxing.
"What.. what will we do if we run into one of these.. Kinir?"
"Simply beat the living shit out of them," Sonya said, still walking as a smirk crept up on her face. "One's a plaything, two's a challenge, three's a bloodbath." Sonya had never acted this way, but she enjoyed it. A while later her friend Akula looked at her as if questioning what was brewing in her head and shook her head. Sonya's expression was usually unreadable by her friend, even if she did have years of practice. A slight chuckle left her lips as the small trio walked on.
